Who operates this, and who answers for it

Veritas Digital LLC operates the platform; Veritas Nexus Legal LLC issues the certificates and answers as designated DMCA agent (DMCA-1063815). Both names appear on the documents because both entities take part: one runs the service, the other stands behind what the service certifies.

Why it is free

Evidence is only worth something if it was created before the dispute. Nobody creates evidence in advance if it costs money every time — so charging per seal would defeat the purpose of the thing being sold. The company lives on the legal work that sits on top: licensing between creators and newsrooms, takedown handling, advisory work.

Built for Latin America

The interface, the support and the legal documents are in Spanish, because that is the market this was built for and the language in which those documents carry legal weight. The proof itself — a SHA-256 fingerprint, an RFC 3161 seal, a Bitcoin anchor — is language-neutral and verifiable from anywhere in the world.

What we do not claim

We do not promise a court will accept a certificate, and we do not sell a “qualified” timestamp we are not accredited to issue: the RFC 3161 seal comes from FreeTSA.org, a free authority, and we say so on the pricing page. What we do promise is that everything we assert can be checked without us.
