What happens if the hash does not match the seal?
It means the received file is not identical to the sealed one: any change, even reopening and saving, alters the SHA-256 fingerprint. Recalculate the hash locally to rule out mistakes, ask the source for the original file, and if the difference persists, treat the material as unverified until its origin is clarified.
