The anonymous flow, step by step
First, open /certificar and select the file you want to seal, in the exact format you want fixed in time. The server computes the SHA-256 hash, applies the server_clock timestamp, and generates the signed certificate. When it finishes you get the certificate’s public link: store it carefully, because it is your access to the evidence and what you will share when you need to demonstrate date and integrity at /verify. Before uploading anything, decide which exact version you want to fix, because any later change to the file will produce a different hash and call for a new certificate.
What declared identity means in this flow
When certifying you state who you are, with no KYC process and no document checks: that is why we call it declared identity. The certificate, issued by infrastructure operated by Veritas Nexus Legal LLC, reflects exactly that declaration. The limit applies to the anonymous flow at /certificar and exists to protect the service from automated abuse. If your workload regularly exceeds it, the natural path is registering: accounts are created with any email and give you a centralized history designed for continuous production workflows.
Is my file published when I certify it?
What gets published is the certificate’s verification page, showing the SHA-256 hash, the seal date, and the declared identity. The hash is a cryptographic fingerprint: it identifies your file without revealing its content. Anyone holding the link can check the evidence at /verify, but cannot reconstruct your work from the hash.
